Poker rooms
In a poker room you play Texas Hold'em or Omaha against other people. The room takes a rake from each pot or a fee from tournament entries. Skill is the edge: better players win from weaker ones over time. Crypto poker rooms let you buy in with coins and cash out the same way.
Casino poker
Casino Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Caribbean Stud borrow poker hands but pit you against the dealer. You fold or raise based on your hand; the house edge depends on the game and the side bets. Live versions from Evolution and Ezugi are common at crypto casinos; the live casino page covers them.
Video poker

Video poker: the pay table is the game
Video poker is the one casino game where you can read the house edge straight off the screen. Jacks or Better with a full pay table, 9 for a full house and 6 for a flush, returns about 99.5% with perfect play. The same game with 8/5 returns about 97.3%, and 7/5 less again. The cards are dealt the same way; only the pay table differs.
