Aviator: the plane that started the crash boom

Aviator is the crash game most Canadians have heard of: a small red plane, a rising multiplier and a cash-out button. Spribe publishes a 97% return and a seed system you can check. Here is how it plays and what the studio actually says about it.

How an Aviator round plays

A round starts with a short betting window. Then the plane takes off and the multiplier climbs from 1.00x. Press cash out at any moment to collect your stake times the current number. When the plane flies away, every stake still in the air is lost, and a new window opens a few seconds later.

Most casinos show two bet panels side by side. Players often use one for a low, safe target and the other for a long shot. Each panel has an auto tab where you can set an automatic cash-out multiplier and repeat the bet.

Spribe also says the game was built to run on budget devices and low-bandwidth connections, which matters on a phone with a weak signal.

The seed system, simply

Before each round, the game shows a hash of the server seed: a fingerprint that commits the result without revealing it. Seeds from the first players to bet are mixed in, and the final value sets the crash point. After the round you can open its details and check that the fingerprint matches. This does not make the game easier to win. It shows the result was not changed after you bet.

Social features and why they matter

Aviator shows other players' bets and cash-outs in real time. That makes the game lively, and it also creates pressure: watching others hold for a big multiplier tempts you to do the same. Decide your cash-out target before the round, ideally with auto cash-out, and let the chat be background noise.

Aviator odds by target

In a crash game with a fixed return, the chance that a round reaches a target is close to the return divided by the target. At Aviator's 97%:

Cash-out targetChance the round gets thereLong-run return
1.5xabout 65%97%
2xabout 48.5%97%
5xabout 19.4%97%
10xabout 9.7%97%
100xabout 1%97%

Whatever target you choose, the return stays at 97%: the target sets how often you win and how much, not what Aviator costs. A C$1 bet costs 3 cents on average at any target.

Aviator compared with other crash games

Aviator has the highest fixed RTP of the five crash games we cover, and the most developed social layer. JetX allows more simultaneous bets, Spaceman adds a 50% auto cash-out, and Crash X has the highest published ceiling. The crash games hub puts them side by side.

Questions and answers

What is the RTP of Aviator?

Spribe's game page lists a return to player of 97%. That is a long-run average over a very large number of rounds, not a promise for one session.

Is Aviator provably fair?

Spribe describes a provably fair system: the operator supplies a server seed, its hash is shown before the round, and seeds from players are combined into the final result. You can check a past round from the game's history.

Can Aviator crash at 1.00x?

Yes. A round can end at the very start. That possibility is part of the game's house edge.

Can I place two bets in Aviator?

The Aviator interface at most casinos shows two bet panels, so you can run two stakes with different cash-out targets in the same round.

What are rain promos in Aviator?

Spribe describes Rain as a feature that drops free bets into the in-game chat at random times; any player can claim them with a button. Whether a casino turns it on is up to the casino.

Can I see what other players bet?

Yes. Spribe lists live bets, where everyone sees others' stakes and wins, and live statistics with daily, monthly and all-time leaderboards.

Does Aviator work on a phone?

Yes. Spribe says the game is built to run on budget devices and slow connections, and lists desktop, tablet and mobile.

Is there an Aviator strategy that works?

No strategy changes the 97% return. Low auto cash-out targets win more often and pay less; high targets win rarely and pay more.

Which casinos have Aviator?

Most crypto casinos carry it. On our board, DuckDice and Wolf.bet list Spribe among their providers. Check the casino lobby, because game line-ups change.

Can I play Aviator with Bitcoin?

Yes, at a crypto casino your balance in BTC, USDT or another coin is used for the stake. A stablecoin keeps your stakes in dollars, which suits a fast game.

Is Aviator the same as JetX or Spaceman?

They share the crash format but come from different studios with different returns and features. Our crash games hub compares all five.
