Spaceman: cash out half, keep half flying

Spaceman is Pragmatic Play's take on the crash format: an astronaut drifting past planets while the multiplier climbs. Its one real twist is the 50% cash-out, which banks half your stake and lets the rest fly.

How Spaceman plays

You stake a bet and the astronaut launches. The multiplier rises as he passes planets. Press cash out to take your stake times the current number, or wait for the 50% target you set to take half automatically. When Spaceman stops, whatever is still in play is lost.

The 50% cash-out in practice

Say you stake $10 with a 50% target at 1.5x and a full target at 4x. At 1.5x you bank $7.50 (half of $10 times 1.5) and $5 keeps flying. If the round reaches 4x, the remaining half pays $20, for $27.50 in total. If it stops at 2x, you keep the $7.50. The feature reduces how often you lose the whole stake. It does not raise the return.

Spaceman odds by target

With a 95% return, the chance that Spaceman reaches a target is about 95% divided by the target: about 47.5% for 2x, 19% for 5x and 9.5% for 10x. The 50% cash-out changes how a single round ends, not those chances. Over many rounds, Spaceman costs about 5 cents per C$1 bet, the most of the five crash games we cover; 300 rounds at C$1 cost about C$15 on average.

Playing Spaceman with crypto from Canada

Spaceman's statistics and history panels show recent multipliers. They are a record, not a forecast: every round starts fresh. A stablecoin balance makes the 50% cash-out easier to follow, since half of a C$10 stake is C$5 rather than a small fraction of a Bitcoin.

Spaceman against the other crash games

Spaceman has the lowest published RTP of the five crash games we cover. Its sister game Big Bass Crash has the same 50% cash-out at 95.50%. For a higher return, Aviator publishes 97% and JetX up to 98.9%. The crash games hub compares all of them.

Is Spaceman a good crash game?

Spaceman is the easiest crash game to play cautiously, thanks to the 50% auto cash-out. It is also the most expensive per bet of the five we cover, at a 95% return. Players who value the safety net may prefer it; players who care most about the cost per bet will find Aviator or JetX cheaper.

Questions and answers

What is the RTP of Spaceman?

Pragmatic Play's game page lists an RTP of 95%. That is lower than Aviator's 97% and Crash X's 96%.

What is the 50% auto cash-out?

A second target you set before the round. When it is reached, half your stake is cashed out at that multiplier; the other half keeps flying until you cash it out or the round ends.

Does Spaceman have normal auto cash-out?

Yes. Pragmatic Play lists custom auto-cashout and 50% auto-cashout limits.

Is Spaceman provably fair?

Pragmatic Play's page for Spaceman does not describe a seed system. The game runs on the studio's own random number generation.

Can I see game statistics?

Yes. The studio lists in-depth statistics, leaderboards and a detailed game history.

Is there a Spaceman strategy?

A common approach is a 50% cash-out at a low multiplier to cover most of the stake, with the remainder aimed higher. It smooths results, but it does not change the 95% return.

What happens if Spaceman stops before I cash out?

Any part of the stake still in play is lost. If the 50% cash-out was already reached, that half is kept.

Can I play Spaceman on mobile?

Yes, Spaceman runs in a mobile browser at casinos that carry Pragmatic Play.

Is Spaceman the same studio as Big Bass Crash?

Yes. Both are Pragmatic Play crash games with a 50% cash-out option. Big Bass Crash publishes a slightly higher RTP of 95.50%.

Which casinos carry Spaceman?

Casinos with Pragmatic Play in their lobby. On our board DuckDice and Wolf.bet list Pragmatic Play among their providers.

Can I play Spaceman with Bitcoin?

Yes. At a crypto casino the stake comes from your BTC, USDT or other coin balance.
